About Us
Why Choose Us
Roxy’s Rainbow was founded from a place of love, loss and a determination to do better.
When we lost our beloved Labrador, Roxy, we found ourselves facing one of the most difficult decisions any pet owner will ever make. During that time, we struggled to find the level of care, compassion and transparency that we felt our family deserved. Like many pet owners, we wanted reassurance, understanding and the comfort of knowing that our pet would be treated with dignity every step of the way.
It was through our own experience that we recognised a significant gap in pet aftercare services. We felt there was a need for a genuinely caring, family-run pet cremation service that placed compassion, honesty and respect at the heart of everything it did.
That experience became the inspiration behind Roxy’s Rainbow.
Today, we are proud to provide the service that we wished had been available to us. A service built by pet owners, for pet owners.
We believe every pet deserves an individual farewell, which is why we only offer genuine individual cremations. We do not offer communal cremations, we do not use cold storage facilities, and we do not offer different levels of service. Every family receives the same high standard of care, compassion and respect.
As an independent family business, we understand that pets are never “just animals” – they are family members, best friends and loyal companions. That’s why we treat every pet entrusted to us as if they were our own.
From our same-day cremation service and 24-hour return of ashes, to our ongoing bereavement support through Remember with Roxy’s, everything we do is guided by one simple principle:
To care for every pet and every family with the kindness, dignity and respect they deserve.
The Story Behind Our Name
Roxy’s Rainbow is named after our beloved Labrador, Roxy, whose memory inspired the creation of our business. Her legacy lives on through every family we support and every pet we have the privilege of caring for.
Amazing service, came up within an hour of calling even on Christmas Eve and got Ice back today (Boxing Day). They are very thoughtful, professional and offer a more personal service. You can tell you're leaving your pet in safe caring hands. I can't praise them enough, they have gone above and beyond to make us feel at ease and were so respectful of Ice and our wishes. I would recommend Roxy's to anyone who wants to give their pet the best send off possible.
Roxy’s looked after our beloved pet hamster Rodger after a very sudden decline meant I had to make the painful decision to have him put to sleep. This is really my children’s first time experiencing loss and Roxy’s made the whole process so much more bearable for them. We will cherish the paw prints and the little mementos of fur forever. Couldn’t recommend this service highly enough 🌈
Meet The Team
They say, never work with family or friends! Well we have certainly broke that rule as all staff are family members with the exception of Wendy 🙂
Pamela & Darren
We are Darren and Pamela, the husband-and-wife team behind Roxy’s Rainbow Pet Cremation.
Family means everything to us, and when we’re not at Roxy’s Rainbow, you’ll usually find us spending time with our loved ones, taking our dog Olive for walks, exploring the Lake District, or planning our next travel adventure. We also share a love of music and enjoy seeing live bands whenever we get the chance.
Wendy
Our friend Wendy was the first to join our little team, Wendy has a beautiful chocolate Labrador called Scooby. Wendy loves spending time with her family, she also enjoys a glass of wine ( or 2 )
Lewis
Lewis is our eldest son, he's married to Vicky and is stepfather to Tori
Lewis is a huge film buff, there's nothing he hasn't seen, he also loves to travel when he can.
Sophie
Our soon to be daughter in law if Jack gets his finger out. Sophie is mammy to Raya and Bruno and joined us 2 years ago. Out of work Sophie loves to socialise with friends and family and is enjoying being a fantastic mam to Raya
Jack
Jack is our youngest son, he is engaged to Sophie and they have a beautiful daughter Raya, he's also dad to Bruno, our crazy springerdor grandog. Jack loves anything sport, out of work you may see him on the golf course or in a football stand.
Olive
Our founding member of the team and the only furry 4 legged member is beautiful Olive. She gives the best cuddles and puts a little smile on the saddest of faces. She started her life ( not the greatest start ) in Cyprus and came over to rescue Darren and Pamela when they needed her the most
